Health and Safety is at the forefront of everything that we do and is considered for every job – small or large. Wayne Bound, one of Bojens directors and Health and Safety Manager oversees implementing procedures to ensure that all work is planned, everything has a process and hazards are identified and dealt with accordingly. Our staff are our most valued asset and we will always encourage them to be the best that they can be, we aim to drive health and safety standards even higher and regularly send our staff on training courses.
For example, our Senior electricians have attended an SSSTS course (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme). This is standard training for those with supervisory responsibilities and provides an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. It highlights legal responsibilities and the need to promote health and safety to supervise effectively.
Our apprentices have a specially made training booth in our office. Under the supervision of Craig, they can work in the booth and are encouraged to use their skills and initiatives. Our training schedule allows each apprentice to have time away from site for training with Craig on a weekly basis, where possible.
As stated in our vision, we are committed to employing the best people and educating tomorrows workforce.

We always put our customers first. This begins with our desire to understand your project and work in partnership to achieve your goal. We will translate those needs into cost-effective high-quality solutions. Our aim is to have happy and satisfied customers.
We employ only the best people. We are lifelong learners. All our site operatives must have the correct qualifications and undertake regular training. We are committed to educating tomorrow’s workforce through our electrical apprenticeship programme. We involve our employees in decision making using their skills and prioritising their development and encouraging suggestions for improvement.
