20 years later
We are thrilled to announce that this year marks a momentous milestone for our Electrical Company as we celebrate 20 years of providing electrical services throughout Oxfordshire and beyond. What started out in April 2005 as a vision by Wayne Bound and Craig Jennings has evolved into a team of around 25 talented individuals and a fleet of over 12 vehicles. Whilst working at our home office was great in the beginning moving into our premises in Fitzharris Industrial Estate back in 2014 was the best decision we ever made, since that day we had the space to grow the business and have some separation between home life and work.
Wayne and Craig wanted to focus on industrial and commercial electrical works since these works were the bread and butter of their training years. It was a great day when we were put on the framework agreement for Oxford University in the early days.
Teamwork
We soon realised that there was a skills shortage of quality electricians so soon set about employing apprentices and try to provide the correct environment for them to grow and learn new skills. This enabled us to grow numbers and train the lads the ‘Bojen’ way.
Projects
We have been very proud of some of the projects we have been involved with over the years a showcase was being asked to provide a Covid-19 trial facility at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford during late 2020. Despite uncertain times the project was a success with commissioning occurring at the end of October 2021. It really was rewarding being involved in something so important.
Celebrating Milestones
As we mark our 20th anniversary, we are thankful for the trust our clients have placed in us. We are fortunate to collaborate with excellent consultants, contractors and project teams and we cherish the relationships we have formed over the years and truly appreciate the support you have shown us over the years. Of course, none of this would be possible without our excellent team both past and present who continue to add value and challenge us further. Some team members have been with us since the early days and others joined when very young, it has been lovely watching them grow and flourish.
We’ve come a long way and it hasn’t always been easy, there have been many obstacles to overcome, but with good people around you and more importantly supportive understanding families behind you anything is possible.
