Health and Safety is at the forefront of everything that we do and is considered for every job – small or large. Wayne Bound, Managing Director and Health and Safety Manager oversees implementing procedures to ensure that all work is planned, everything has a process, and hazards are identified and dealt with accordingly.
Our staff are our most valued asset, and we will always encourage them to be the best that they can be, we aim to drive health and safety standards even higher and regularly send our staff on training courses.
For example, our Senior Electricians have attended an SSSTS course (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme). This is standard training for those with supervisory responsibilities and provides an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. It highlights legal responsibilities and the need to promote health and safety to supervise effectively.
All operatives are trained in asbestos awareness and most have PASMA designed to ensure the safe assembly of mobile towers when working at height and or IPAF training to enable safe operation of or to safely operate types of MEWPs.
